Terms of Reference
To exercise a strategic overview of the progress of the second phase of development of self regulation for the further education sector – in particular to ensure the alignment of the practical proposals being developed with the overall ambition:
Our ambition is radical: that of a further education sector comprising confident, autonomous, demand led institutions acting both individually and collectively through a sector authority with a single voice for the benefit of learners, employers, communities and the nation; delivering the Leitch ambition; implementing rigorous, effective, challenging and externally-validated self regulation arrangements with maximum scope; enjoying an excellent reputation with the public both at home and abroad; and formally recognised as respected and trusted partners of government.
